On view from June 21st through September 15th at the New Orleans Museum of Art (NOMA) will be Rashaad Newsome's solo exhibition, Rashaad Newsome: King of Arms. This will be Rashaad Newsome's first solo-exhibition in Louisiana; and is part of the museum's Great Hall exhibition series. NOMA states that the exhibition "explores the artist's interest in ornament, systems of heraldry, and Baroque grandeur." Rashaad Newsome: King of Arms will include the artist's monumental collages and the addition of a special video presentation of Newsome's Herald (2011) installed in the NOMA's Great Hall.

On June 3rd, T-Magazine dedicated a feature to Dallas's premiere boutique hotel, the Joule Hotel. Located in the Arts District close to the Nasher Sculpture Center and Dallas Museum of Art, the hotel is decorated with the art collection of millionaire and financier Time Headington. Artists' works included in this collection are Marlborough Chelsea's Andrew Kuo, Tony Cragg, Anthony Pearson and more.
